Ondrej Vinklarek Named EPT Season 8 Player of the Year

Czech poker pro Ondrej Vinklarek has been named EPT Season 8 Player of the Year.  Vinklarek receives a trophy and automatic entry into EPT Barcelona, the debut event for EPT Season 9.

Vinklarek, 28, from Kolin, is often dubbed “the Czech Chris Moorman”.  He’s also a Chess Candidate Master and WCOOP champion. 

Lifetime winnings on the live circuit for Vinklarek total $381,096 but just look at his European Poker Tour accomplishments over this past year and it is easy to see why he was justified in receiving the EPT Season 8 Player of the Year award.
