Gordon Huntly Wins 2012 ANZPT Sydney

Gordon Huntly is the winner of this year’s Australia New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT) in Sydney with a sweet US$238,524 first place prize.

“This is an incredible feeling,” said Huntly.  “I have loved playing this event and I am just so elated to have come through such a tough field.”

Huntly was born in Scotland and now calls Thailand his home.   He has enjoyed only modest success up to this point on the live poker circuit. 

Liam O’Rourke of Australia finished in 2nd place with a $144,754 cashout.  His highest finish up until this week was at the ANZPT Gold Coast Season 2 Main Event where he finished in 3rd place.
