The Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens line had dipped to -1.5 in favor of Baltimore. That has a lot to do with the fact that Pittsburgh was now getting around 80 percent of the betting action on the spread. Furthermore, close to 100 percent of those betting the money line were backing the Steelers to win outright in this game.
“That is some sick action and it makes perfect sense that the line on this game had dropped from -2.5 to -1 at some books,” noted Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com. A one point change typically signifies heavy one-sided volume.

Despite past history, even the local Pittsburgh papers have expressed concern over a revamped Baltimore Ravens team.
Ralph N. Paulk of the Pittsburgh Gazette had this to say:
A multitude of personnel changes with the Ravens has given him cause for concern. The Ravens tried to beef up their ground game by acquiring Pro Bowl fullback Vonta Leach from the Houston Texans. He's expected to be the lead blocker for running back Ray Rice, who has rushed for more than 1,200 yards in each of the past two seasons. And they added a deep-ball threat with former Buffalo receiver Lee Evans to complement three-time Pro Bowler Anquan Boldin.
"(Baltimore Ravens General Manager) Ozzie (Newsome) and company have been active in the offseason improving their team," Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said. "It's evident watching the preseason tape with some of the various new guys they have to play key positions.”
