2009 WSOP Main Event Winner Joe Cada 5th Place at EPT San Remo

Joe Cada continues to play strong at this year’s PokerStars sponsored EPT San Remo where he finishes Day 5 in 5th place among the chip leaders.  Cada won the 2009 World Series of Poker main event.  He is the last remaining player from the United States with 24 out of 987 remaining. 

Chilean PokerStars player Nicolas Yunis, 26, is leading EPT San Remo as the event goes into its penultimate day. He has 2,281,000.

England’s Rupert Elder was in second place with 1894000 chips.

Italy’s Luigi Pignataro was in third place with 1796000 chips. 

Russian Team PokerStars Pro Max Lykov was in fourth place with 1,722,000. The last female player in the field is Canadian Xuan Liu who has 1,187,000.

12 players remained from Italy, 3 from the United Kingdom, 2 from France, and 1 each from Germany, Canada, Chile, Uruguay and Russia.
