UB.com is boosting the Pro Bounty Madness Tournament Series with a new addition to the line-up on Saturday afternoon, the Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo 8-or-better event featuring Brandon Cantu set to launch this Saturday.

Team UB’s BRANDONCANTU steps up to host his very own weekly $10K GTD PLO8 Hi-Lo tournament every Saturday at 15:30 ET. The first of these $150+12 buy-in events will debut at the leading online poker room on Saturday, March 12th

“My Saturdays have just gotten more exciting with an added bounty tournament like this. PLO8 Hi-Lo is a very strategic game and I know the field will be tough, but I’m definitely looking forward to the competition.”

CANTUis well credentialed to take on the competition in this one. His second career World Series Of Poker (“WSOP”) bracelet was netted when he bested a field of 762 players in a $1500 buy-in Pot Limit Omaha 8-or-better tourney at the 2009 WSOP. With over $3.4 million in live tournament earnings, 10 cashes at the WSOP, and two WSOP bracelet wins under his belt, CANTU will be a hard nut to crack.

But along with the $10,000 guaranteed prize money, players will vie for the bragging rights that come with kicking Cantu to the rails, and a pretty sweet $150 tournament dollar Pro Bounty. The double reward will no doubt prove incentive enough for many online poker players, who’ll be happy to pony up the buy-in to take their shot at the celebrated CANTU. Satellites are also running for Cantu’s Pro Bounty event, starting from as low as $3+0.30. Check the tournament lobby for the full satellite schedule.
