As of Saturday night, with a full day of play, this 2010 World Series of Poker final table update has three exciting pieces of news.
First, Sol Nguyen was the first to be eliminated in ninth place and takes home a nice chunk of change: Just over $811,000. He is the only person to leave the final table who won’t walk away a millionaire.
Second, Canada’s Matthew Jarvis finished in 8th place and leaves with just over $1 million.
The third piece of big news is that, as of Saturday night, the 2010 World Series of Poker final table’s most well known player, Michael Mizrachi, led the pack with 50,225,000 chips.
Should Mizrachi win the 2010 World Series of Poker main event, he will go from having a tax lien and two foreclosures to becoming poker’s all-time cash leader, ahead of Phil Ivey.
There is still a long way to go as play resumes.
