Redskins vs. Bears

After some early instability the Redskins vs. Bears spread has settled in a -3 in favorite for the Chicago Bears.  65 percent of the spread action was on Washington in this game.

The Redskins lost Monday night to the Colts in a tightly contested game.  They come into this matchup at 3-3.

Chicago, meanwhile, lost this past Sunday to a Seattle Seahawks team that has played terribly on the road.  But the Bears will come into this matchup at 4-2.  They are currently leading the NFC North division.

Some important stats to consider before betting this game:

The Redskins have won the last three in this series dating back to 2004.

The Redskins are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a S.U. loss whereas the Bears are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. loss. (edge: Redskins)

The Redskins are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 road games.  The Bears are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games as a home favorite.  That said, the Redskins are 1-6-6 ATS in their last 13 games as an underdog of 0.5-3.0.
