SACRAMENTO, Cal. (Gambling911.com) - Three players recently hit separate six-figure jackpots worth a combined $780,000 at Sky River Casino in Elk Grove, California. The casino is located approximately 25 minutes from Sacramento.
The first win came Oct. 9 when a player with the coveted five aces hand in Face Up Pai Gow, won $129,059 plus a $3,000 side bet payout.
Face Up Pai Gow Poker is a variation of traditional Pai Gow Poker in which the dealer's cards are dealt face up, allowing players to see the dealer's hand before setting their own hands. It is played in casinos using a standard 52-card deck plus one joker.
Less than 24 hours later, a Livermore resident triggered AGS's Triple Diamond Progressive jackpot through the Double Up Blackjack Bonus Spin feature. This $554,883 was the largest of the three wins.
The Lightning Cash Happy Lantern game then paid out $111,814 to another Livermore resident on October 12.
Happy Lantern is a progressive jackpot slot machine from Aristocrat Gaming, part of the popular Lightning Link and Lightning Cash family.
These wins come as a California Gambler hit a six-figure jackpot on $2 side bet at the Cache Creek Casino Resort, located approximately 45 minutes outside of Sacramento. The Woodland man hit the $186,337 jackpot while playing four-card poker on Oct. 13, the casino said.
Four Card Poker is a casino table game in which players compete against the dealer by making the best possible four-card poker hand. Unlike traditional poker, you're not playing against other players. The game was developed by Shuffle Master (now part of Light & Wonder) and is commonly found in casinos throughout the United States.
“Winning over $186,000 is a remarkable moment, and we couldn’t be happier,” said Kari Stout-Smith, general manager and COO of Cache Creek Casino Resort.
