NFL free agency officially opens on Wednesday March 11, but as of 167 hours and 54 minutes from when this was sent, teams can start negotiations with agents.
Throughout this week, BetOnline will be releasing “next team” odds for players we know will be free agents, players who we expect to be free agents after getting cut and players who may get traded.
Last week we sent you Kirk Cousins, and this week we’ll start with Kyle Murray, Maxx Crosby and Tua Tagovailoa.
Kyler Murray is co-favored to land with either the New York Jets or Miami Dolphins at +300 and +350, respectively. But the Minnesota Vikings are within a half point of those odds (4/1).
Senior NFL reporter for ESPN, Jeremy Fowler, tweeted out, "Kyler Murray and Geno Smith are strong considerations for the Vikings at the quarterback position, with Tua and Kirk on the radar as well."
The Jets, meanwhile, are reportedly going to release Justin Fields this offseason.

ClutchPoints Enzo Flojo had this to say about Miami potentially pulling the trigger here.
First, the mobility factor. For years, Miami’s offense depended on timing and precision within a confined pocket. When that structure cracked, so did the unit. Murray provides second-reaction creativity. He extends plays and threatens edges. His improvisational ability pairs seamlessly with Jaylen Waddle’s burst and the vertical stress Miami’s system is built around.
Second, this is a buy-low opportunity. Murray’s trade value is depressed after a foot injury and concerns about diminished explosiveness. If Miami’s medical staff believes he can regain most of his pre-injury mobility, the upside dwarfs the risk.
Third, this is a contractual reset disguised as a gamble. Murray’s deal is expensive, but it is flexible. Miami can restructure his cap number. That would smooth out the hit while effectively replacing Tagovailoa’s $54 million guarantee with a quarterback who brings a higher ceiling. It’s not about redirecting cost.
