EVENT: World Gaming Executive Summit, the most senior gathering of gaming operators in the world. Over 500 senior-level executives are expected to attend. Summit is to be held at the W Hotel in Barcelona, July 3-5.

Bill Pascrell III of Princeton Public Affairs Group is scheduled to speak July 3 from 4:20 to 5 p.m., Central European summer time (which is 10:20 to 11 a.m. New York time).

The topic of BP3’s speech presentation is “Sports Betting on the US: Embracing the challenge of a changing industry.”

BP3’S QUOTE: “With the recent news about legalized sports betting in the United States and New Jersey coming on line in June, the World Gaming Executive Summit will be an incredibly exciting time for me. I will be speaking about sports betting in the U.S. and the many new opportunities available for operators. After nine long years of repeatedly telling the global gaming industry leaders that U.S. sports betting outside of Vegas is not a question of if but when, the ‘when’ has arrived.”

BACKGROUND: Across the gaming industry there is an increasing need for companies to innovate. Competition is fierce, due to continuing market consolidation for both the offline and online sectors. Changes to regulations and increased licensing opportunities in new markets mean that companies need to innovate to attract millennials and retain existing customers. There are opportunities across the board from lottery and gaming partnerships; and the rise of social and mobile gambling presenting new channels to market and exciting disruptions to the online sector. – Bill Pascrell III

OVERVIEW OF SUMMIT: This year’s conference will see senior speakers from across nine in-depth streams. The speaker lineup features the CEOs and decision-makers from some of the world’s biggest operators, with representation from every continent. The agenda represents excellent value, with three days of high-level content focusing on customer experience and loyalty, new customers, innovations in block-chain technology, new technologies, e-sports, sports betting and integrated resorts.
