Gambling911.com readers are all fired up over recent articles appearing on the website related to former Libertarian Vice Presidential candidate, Wayne Root, and poker pro, Daniel Negreanu.  Both have published attention grabbing rants.  Root's had to do with the state of the union and President Obama's failings while Negreanu was busy trying to figure out why there is a cable network for black people (BET) and not white folks like himself.

Thomas Somach covered the Negreanu rant in an article published on the Gambling911.com website Tuesday.

From Somach:

"Writing on his blog this month at website Full Contact Poker (www.fullcontactpoker.com), Negreanu made some outrageous comments about the sensitive subject of race, comments that would have created a firestorm if Negreanu had any relevance outside the poker world but which have been generally ignored because he is, after all, just a poker player.

But one with a blog, so people do read it."

Readers mostly lashed out at Somach.

.............

"Daniel's comments are clearly not rascist quite the OPPOSITE as he questioning things still exist in today's society that could easily be interpretted as rascim or lead to rascist acts. WHAT A DUMB ARTICLE TO WRITE SLANDERING A GOOD MAN'S NAME!"

racism?

"Where's the racism in DN's blog comments? His point is valid. We do know the historical reasons why, but in a perfect union blacks shouldn't need black colleges/media etc more than greeks/italian/poles/anglo should need greek/italian/poles/anglo colleges/media. Sad, really this branding of racism for really some naive comments..."

Poor Social Skills Do Not Equal Racism

"Daniel has never been known for his ability to provide social commentary or even make a complete sentence for that matter. His talent of reading people on the poker table does not translate into the real world. What do you expect from a grade school dropout? With that being said, I don't think that his inability to fit in socially makes him a racist. Daniel is and always has been an idiot. He is a caricature of a human being. The entire poker world knows this, but it doesn't make him a racist."

But not everybody was against Somach.

GOD*** F**KING CANADIAN BASTARD!!!

"F*** NEGREANU, HE IS AN ASSWIPE OF IMMENSE PROPORTION WHY DOES THE RACIST GUY WHO STARTS A WHITE ENTERTAINMENT NETWORK HAVE TO BE FROM ALABAMA? I AM FROM ALABAMA AND I RESENT IT, I AM NOT A RACIST LIKE DANNY BOY HES A PIECE OF S*** BUT WHAT DO U EXPECT FROM AN ASS***** WHO COMES FROM A COUNTRY WITH LIKE 7 BLACK PEOPLE"

kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

"dan, where's yer hood the reason theres no white entertainment network is because every channel besides bet is a white entertainment network what an idiot the same reason there's a miss black america but no miss white america is because miss america is miss white america same for black news shows, black newspapers, black colleges, etc. get it, u racist sack of sheet"

Then there was the lightning rod of controversy, Wayne Allyn Root, who has vowed to speak out against big government whenever possible.  Root is a popular contributor to the Gambling911.com website but not everyone likes him.

Root's piece entitled Wayne Root: Obama Ordering Intimidation by Union Thugs generated these mostly one sentence responses:

wow

"that was insane"

god, gambling and guns..and g911?

"i may disagree on O with many many issues, but can someone just shove this cable-tv ass in a hole and bury him as a root shold be? thanks."

Politics

"Throwing out the incumbents won't do any good unless they're willing to impeach all activist judges."
