Two years ago in Amsterdam at the Casino Affiliate Conference, Gambling911.com Senior International Correspondent, Jenny Woo, was awaken by three men standing over her with bolt cutters.

"I squirmed.  I screamed," Woo disclosed.  "I just thought I was going to be manhandled by these crazy Dutchmen holding bolt cutters in my face."

Woo had been comatose in her bed that morning, missing a flight back to the States.  The only way to access her room was by having security use bolt cutters to break through the lock.  Even the sound of the tool cutting through her entry way did nothing to awaken Sleeping Beauty.

"To this day I still have nightmares about the incident," Woo confessed.

And these nightmares are increasing as Woo is set to return back to Amsterdam for the first time since the notorious "bolt cutters" incident.  She'll be staying at the same hotel.

The dreams are almost always a recollection of what transpired that morning.  Sometimes the security guards in Woo's dream are replaced by CAC organizer Marc Lesnick and his Asian girlfriend, Ming.

"She is yelling stuff in Chinese and so is Marc while they start coming at me with the bolt cutters," Woo said.  "Then Marc starts getting all spastic on me and yells in English about the $1000 plus in phone charges I racked up to the room." Gambling911.com always needs to be concerned over Woo's safety when she is traveling abroad.  This year she will be supervised by her agent.

"She'll also be wearing something that resembles a dog collar with the name of her hotel to prevent her from getting lost," disclosed Payton O'Brien, Senior Editor of the Gambling911.com website.

Two years before the "bolt cutter" incident, Woo had been left behind on a party boat to fend for herself.  Some "investor" attempted to take her back to her room but Jenny had forgotten the name of the hotel in which she was staying - The Renaissance.

"I knew it started with an ‘R'.  We went to the Ramada and some other hotel.  I just knew it wasn't the Ritz Carlton!"

But being lost in the middle of the night in a foreign country does not even come close to the fear Jenny felt upon seeing those security guards hovering over her with the bolt cutters.

"I'll admit I am a little apprehensive about staying in Amsterdam.  The memories will all come back and with my luck I'll probably bump into one of those security guards again," Woo said.  "I might have to find a man or two or three to comfort me, preferably a Brit with a shaved head."
