Gambling911.com has learned that attorneys representing an individual claiming to be owed substantial monies from American Pharoah owner Ahmed Zayat at one time requested the assistance of the U.S. Homeland Security citing that the debts owed were to offshore gambling operatives.

Adelson Lawsuit to be Heard in Nevada

LAS VEGAS (Associated Press) — A Nevada judge has decided a wrongful termination case against Macau-based Sands China Ltd. and Sands Chairman Sheldon Adelson can stay in Nevada largely because of the influence Adelson wielded over the company, often from several thousand miles away.

Clark County District Court Judge Elizabeth Gonzalez issued her ruling Friday afternoon after hearing several days of testimony in April and May to determine if Nevada has jurisdiction over the lawsuit filed by the former CEO of Sands China, Steven Jacobs.

Three More Found Guilty in Legends Sports Billion Dollar Sportsbook Case

Three other individuals tied to what authorities call a billion dollar sports betting business were found guilty in an Oklahoma City federal court.

Rodger Bramley, 73, of Plano, Texas; Kelley Diebner, 43, of Houston; and Leon Moran Jr. 54, of Kingsburg, Calif., were found guilty in Oklahoma City federal court of racketeering conspiracy, conducting an illegal gambling business and money laundering conspiracy.

Imad Fakhro Gets Over 200K Mark at Eureka Hamburg Main Event

Imad Fakhro bagged 206,600 to finish Day 1b of the €1,100 Eureka 5 Hamburg Main Event in chip lead. Although the German couldn't match Day 1a leader Kadir Uzunoglu, he was the only player in today's 111-entry field who managed to get over the 200k mark. The German wasn't comfortable to reveal any information about himself, being shy even to pose during the chip leader photo shooting.

Italy PM Infuriated Over Match-Fixing Scandal That Netted Around 50

ROME - (Reuters) - Prime Minister Matteo Renzi said on Wednesday he was embarrassed and disgusted by the latest match-fixing scandal to hit Italian soccer and called for sweeping changes to clean up the game and attract families to stadiums.

Renzi had already promised to make radical changes to professional soccer a year ago after a supporter was shot dead by a rival fan at the Italian Cup final, but these reforms never materialised.
