The OVER/UNDER was coming in at 44.5 with a line of -115.

New England Patriots Adam Vinatieri kicked the longest winning field goal in Super Bowl history in 2002   That was against St. Louis and was kicked from 48 yards.

But there have been much longer field goals kicked during the rest of the NFL season, and two of those have been made by Tampa Bay.

In 2006, Tampa Bay’s Rob Bironas nailed a 60-yard field goal against the Colts.  This was tied for the third longest field goals.

In 2006, Matt Bryant of the Bucs launched a 62-yard field goal to knock out the Philadelphia Eagles.

But the longest field goal in NFL history was delivered this year by one of the teams playing in the 2014 Super Bowl.

Broncos placekicker Matt Prater broke the record when he successfully completed a 64-yard attempt before halftime against the Titans.
