St. Louis Rams Odds to Win 2016 Super Bowl, NFC West

The St. Louis Rams odds to win the 2016 Super Bowl and the 2015 NFC West were at 50/1 and 9/1, respectively.

The Rams have yet to get over the hump during the Jeff Fisher era.  Quarterback Sam Bradford has been traded and Nick Foles takes over the reigns following a trade with the Eagles.

Positives:  Nick Foles is a positive.  The Rams also have a new offensive coordinator in Frank Cignetti and a new quarterbacks coach in Chris Weinke.  A strong running game should help Foles.  The Rams also have an elite defense, one of the best in the league.

Negatives:  The offense has some shortcomings and Foles health is always a concern.

Final Analysis: The ingredients are there for St. Louis to have its first winning season in years.  San Francisco’s likely downward spiral should further help accomplish that feat.

NFC West Odds to Win Division:

Seattle -300

Arizona 5/1

St. Louis 9/1

San Francisco 15/1

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
