San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks

San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks 2010 Week 1 NFL odds had the 49ers as -3 point road favorites and they were getting around 90 percent of the action in this late Sunday afternoon affair.  The 49ers and Green Bay Packers both play later in the day Sunday yet have been getting the most betting action of any other NFL team coming into Week 1.

“The line has remained relatively steady this week across the board despite the heavy lopsided action,” notes Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

The line opened Seattle -1 initially some months ago.

It’s not entirely clear as to why the 49ers, who finished 8-8 last year, are getting so much attention over a team that just hired Pete Carroll as its head coach.

Seattle is 4-2 in this series over the last 6 games.  These two teams alternated winnings over the last 2 seasons.  The home team won their respective games last season.

The one standout in terms of odds trends involves San Francisco going 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. NFC West.  That seems to be the trend that has captivated gamblers.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
