San Diego Chargers vs. Kansas City Chiefs Odds

San Diego Chargers vs. Kansas City Chiefs odds were between -4 ½ and -5 ½ with San Diego as the road favorite.  Bodog.com offered the +5 ½ line for Kansas City while betED.com offered a line of -4 ½ for the Chargers.  What this means is you can bet both sides at the two different books if you should desire and, if San Diego wins by 5 points, you win both your bets.  Of course the number "5" isn't the greatest number to be on, but the risk is nominal if middling is your thing.  Bodog was the only book we could find offering the +5 ½ line for KC.

Though San Diego has won four of five in this series,  the Chargers have only won by a single point the last two games.

The Chargers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. AFC.  The Chiefs are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. AFC West.  They are also 4-12 ATS in their last 16 home games.

If there was ever a chance for the Chargers Shawn Merriman to post a crooked number in the sack column it would be this week against a Chiefs team that has given up an AFC-high 22 sacks. From 2005-07, Merriman was one of the league's best pass rushers. He tallied 39.5 sacks over those three seasons and was one of the game's most feared defenders.  He suffered a knee injury last season.

Over the last three weeks, the Chiefs have played quite well despite losing the first two games over this period of time. They hung tough with a depleted Giants team in the second half, nearly beat the Cowboys before succumbing in overtime and finally got their first win last Sunday in Washington.

If you like the Chargers bet them at betED.com

If you like the Chiefs bet them at Bodog.com

If you like the Chargers to win by 5 points, bet both teams.
