It’s official, the Ohio State Buckeyes have broken a record in 2015 before even taking to the field, becoming the first ever unanimous number one in the AP Preseason College Football poll.  The Buckeyes enter the season as 2/1 favorites to win the 2016 College Football Championship Game.

The defending national champion Buckeyes received all 61 first-place votes from the media panel in the rankings released Sunday.

Preseason rankings date back to 1950. Since then, no team had received more than 97 percent of the first-place votes in a preseason poll.

Oddsmakers have Ohio State winning all but one regular season game in 2015.
