New York Giants vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers odds had the Giants a big -6 ½ road favorite at BetUS.com heading into Friday morning.  It should be noted that many books had New York at -7 odds.  The Giants were getting over 95 percent of the action in this game and they were one of the most bet on teams coming into Week 3.  A Giants cover would not make for a happy bookmaker.  That much is for sure.

The Giants have dominated over the last two games against Tampa Bay dating back to 2006 so that can't bode well for bookmakers.

Here are some more fun stats:

The Giants are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game.

The Giants are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a road favorite.

The Giants are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game.

New York is 22-6 ATS in their last 28 road games.  What a fantastic stat!

They are 21-7 ATS in their last 28 games following a S.U. win.

They are 20-7 ATS in their last 27 games following a ATS win.

The Giants are 38-17-2 ATS in their last 57 vs. NFC.

As a favorite of 3.5 to 9.5, the Giants are 12-6 ATS over the last three seasons.

Off a division game, they are 10-4 ATS.

Off a win against a division rival, the Giants are 7-2 ATS.

After two or more consecutive wins they are 13-4 Straight Up and 11-6 ATS the last three seasons.

Then there's the Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

The Buccaneers are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games as a home underdog of 3.5-10.0.

The Buccaneers are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game.

The Buccaneers are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game.

The New York Giants were also getting close to 95 percent of the money line action in this game.  A money line bet required close to $300 to win $100 but might actually be worth itA Giants win means that the $300 bet is returned in addition to the $100 bet.

What's an oddsmaker to do if all the money is coming in on New York?

They can't do much.  The fear of course is that the Giants win by a touchdown so if there is suddenly a situation where the line is moved up to -7 ½ and everyone starts betting on Tampa Bay, the bookies really lose out big.

In the end, this might ultimately be the biggest concern of all:

Tampa Bay's once-proud defense has looked like a shell of its former self early this year. It ranks 31st overall in the league and has given up big play after big play. Rookie coach Raheem Morris has a defensive background and will need to come up with a solid game plan against an explosive Giants offense ranked sixth in the league.

These trends have us convinced that the Giants should win by -6 ½ points and this is certainly a strong play for us here at Gambling911.com this week.  Bet it at BetUS.com and be sure to claim your FREE CASH BONUS when opening an account.  Get up to 60 percent in FREE CASH MONEY.
