The New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys odds were listed at Dallas -3.   The total was 45.

This game goes off Monday, 8:35 pm Eastern – ESPN

The Dallas Cowboys will try and turn their NFL bettingseason around on Monday night as they host the New York Giants. Despite having the third-best offense and fourth-best defense in the league, the Cowboys are 1-4. They have committed the second-most penalties in the league and they continue to make critical mistakes.  The Cowboys outgained the Vikings by more than 100 yards last week but still lost.

Dallas is a 3-point favorite with a total of 45 at SBG Global.

The Cowboys had a must-win game last week and lost, so this week’s game is perhaps a desperation game.  Only five teams in NFL history that started the season 1-4 have made the playoffs.  Owner Jerry Jones has said that he is not going to make a coaching change so Dallas will have to find a way to win with Wade Phillips and his poor coaching.

The Giants won both games against Dallas last season including a 33-31 shootout at Cowboys Stadium. Eli Manning threw for 330 yards in that win. New York comes into this week’s game on a three-game winning streak. Their defense has come around and they are leading the NFC in fewest yards allowed per game.  They will get tested on Monday by a Dallas offense that is third in the league.

Here are the NFL betting statsfor Monday’s game. The Giants are 20-7-1 ATS in their last 28 games in October. The Giants are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games as a road underdog.  The Giants are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings against the Cowboys.

The Over is 5-2-1 in the Giants last 8 road games. The Under is 5-2 in the Cowboys last 7 vs. the NFC East. The Over is 7-3-1 in the Cowboys last 11 Monday games.
