The Lions odds to win the 2015 NFC North were coming in at 5-1 for a potential payout of $500 with every $100 bet.

Jim Caldwell helped coach the Lions to their best season since 1991, finishing with 11 wins. Detroit squandered their wild-card playoff game to Dallas however.

On offense, Matthew Stafford reduced his interceptions from 19 to 12 and still led five game-winning, fourth-quarter drives.

Ndamukong Suh has departed to Miami so there are concerns the defense won’t be quite as potent as last season.  Other defensive players have left the team as well including Nick Fairley primary backup C.J. Mosley and end George Johnson.

If Detroit can overcome a tough early season schedule, they could provide Green Bay with a run for their money to win this division.

Here are your division odds:

Green Bay Packers -300

Detroit Lions 5/1

Minnesota Vikings 7/1

Chicago Bears 16/1
