(Gambling911.com Sports Wire) – Despite the fireworks accident involving rising star Jason Pierre-Paul this Fourth of July weekend, the New York Giants remained favorites to win at least 8 regular season games and maybe more.  The bookies have posted a -115 price on both the OVER and UNDER -115.

New York will also pay better than 3-1 odds win a division win this season.

In the last three seasons since winning the Super Bowl, starting quarterback Eli Manning has seen his numbers decline dramatically.

In 2014, the Giants installed a new offense under offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo and, as such, we could very well see improvements.  The bookies at least seem to think so.

The one shining gem that gives us a gleam of hope for an improved Giants team is the re-hiring of Steve Spagnuolo to take control of New York’s defense.  Under Spagnuolo, the Giants defense was among the most feared in the league.
