X Factor Betting Odds: Will Cheryl Cole Slap Simon Cowell?

Will it be Diana Vickers or Eoghan Quigg?  X Factor betting odds were available at Ireland's biggest online sportsbook, Paddy Power.

Vickers had odds of 13-8, Quinn odds of 11-4, Alexandra Burke odds of 3-1, JLS 4-1, Ruth Lorenzo 20-1 and Rachel Hylton was the long shot with 50-1 odds.

Paddy was also offering 10-1 odds on whether judge Cheryl Cole slaps fellow judge Simon Cowell across the face.

Cheryl Cole, meanwhile, is considered to be Britain's most inspirational woman, a new poll has revealed.

The X Factor judge beat off competition from Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, who took second place in the Mecca Bingo survey. Queen Elizabeth finished third in the top ten list of positive role models for women.

Last year, Cole topped a list of the worst examples set to British women, leading Mecca's Lesly Hughes to comment: "It is interesting to see how much public opinion of Cheryl has changed."
