Wall E

Not all online gambling websites are offering odds to win the Best Animated Film at the 2009 Oscars, but SBG Global, one of the largest i-Gaming firms IS.

The favorite has shorter odds than Slumdog Millionaire.

Wall E. is listed at -1500 odds.  You would have to lay $150 just to win $10.

Wall E. is a 2008 computer-animated science fiction film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. The film was directed by Andrew Stanton. It follows the story of a robot named WALL-E who is designed to clean up a waste covered Earth far in the future. He eventually falls in love with another robot named EVE, and follows her into outer space on an adventure.

With that description it's easy to understand why Wall E. would be such a huge favorite.

There are two other nominees that promise a pretty substantial payout assuming an upset.

Kung Fu Panda sounds like some silly Teenage Ninja Turtle sequel set amongst the polar ice caps of China.  Actually, the film has received rave reviews and many award nominations including a Golden Globe.  Kung Fu Panda is about a bumbling panda who aspires to be a kung fu master. After a much feared warrior is predicted to escape from prison, Po is foretold to be the Dragon Warrior, much to the chagrin of the resident kung fu warriors.  Should it win Best Animated film, Kung Fu Panda would pay out $700 for every $100 bet at SBG Global.

Bolt would be the mother of all upsets, paying $3000 for every $100 bet.

The film's plot centers around a small white dog named Bolt who, having spent his entire life on the set of a television series, thinks that he has super powers. When he believes that his human, Penny, has been kidnapped, he sets out on a cross-country journey to "rescue" her.
