Whether you were a fan of the 80's glam group Poison or not, one can't help but feel bad for lead singer turned reality television star Bret Michaels.  He remained in ICU Wednesday with a massive life threatening brain hemorrhage.  Michaels was said to be conscious, according to People Magazine.

Michaels opened as the odds-on favorite (-200) to win this season's Celebrity Apprentice at Sportsbook.com.  It is a tightly kept secret as to whether Michaels actually makes it to the May 23rd finale.  Everything up to that point was already pre-taped prior to Michaels hospitalization.

It is possible the finale could be postponed regardless of whether Michaels made it to the final or not.  It will need to be postponed if he did make it however as Michaels is not likely to have made a full recovery by the May 23rd airing.

Donald Trump has said that Michaels did very well on the show and he remained among those still in contention coming into this week.

Donald Trump recently said that the show has never faced this kind of situation.

Ironically, Celebrity Apprentice has seen its ratings spike following news of Michaels condition.  There was a double digit jump in fact.

Compared to last week, Celebrity Apprentice was up 19 percent in adults 25-54  (from 3.1/07), 20 percent in adults 18-49 (from 2.5/07), and added 1.03 million viewers (from 6.82 million).
