76ers vs. Heat Fantasy Picks, Salaries, Betting Report – February 23

This 76ers vs. Heat fantasy picks and betting report is courtesy of Gambling911.com, the official sponsor of the first ever Daily Fantasy Sports Expo in Miami Beach.  This is just one of the many new additions to the Gambling911.com site to compliment the second half of the season that we hope will make you a winner whether you’re betting on games or playing daily fantasy NBA.

The Heat were dealt a serious blow in recent days with news that star Chris Bosh will be out for the remainder of this season due to a collapsed lung.  His absence was felt Saturday in a 14-point home loss to New Orleans.

For daily fantasy players, Bosh’s absence should open opportunities for other Heat players to increase their minutes.  Hassan Whiteside and newcomer Goran Dragic were expected to be the initial benefactors.

The Heat will face Philadelphia at home Monday, Orlando and New Orleans again on the road, then host Atlanta and Phoenix.  They went 1-4 in recent games against these three teams.

Against Philadelphia, Miami was listed as an overnight -10.5 home favorite.  The away team has won in the last four games of this series with the two teams alternating wins.  All of Philadelphia’s losses were by double digits.

Here are your projected salaries and target fantasy points to make value (vary between sites):

Hassan Whiteside (C) $7.7K – 36 fantasy points

Dwyane Wade (PG) $7.2K – 29 fantasy points

Udonis Haslem (PF) $3K – 18 fantasy points

Luol Deng (SF) $5.1K – 25 fantasy points

Goran Dragic (PG) $6.1K

vs. PhiladelphiaWith Philadelphia having allowed the 2nd most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards this season while ranking dead last against power forwards, a number of Heat starters were expected to excel versus the Sixers.

Priced at just $3K, Udonis Haslem only needs 18 fantasy points to make value against the 76ers.  He did manage to make value against the lowly Sixers the last time facing them contributing just 4 points but also 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and a block.

Dwyane Wade also made value versus Philadelphia last time he faced them.  He returned from a hamstring injury and scored only 12 points while adding four rebounds and one assist in a win against the Knicks the other night.

Wade followed up with a dazzling performance against New Orleans the next night, scoring 19 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.  His three turnovers did keep him from reaching value at some daily fantasy sites.

The 76ers are 7-2 Against The Spread in their last 9 games overall.  They have won four of their last ten games Straight Up.  Not bad for a team that only has 12 wins under its belt for the entire season.  They lost by five points to Orlando Sunday night.

Here are your projected salaries and target fantasy points to make value (vary between sites):

Nerlens Noel (C) $5.2K - 26 fantasy points

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (SF) $4.5K - 25 fantasy points

Jakarr Sampson (PF) $3K - 18 fantasy points

Robert.Covington (SF) $6.1 - 30 fantasy points

Tim Frazier (SG) $4.3K - 24 fantasy points

Michael Carter (PG) $7.9K is expected to be out for this game with a toe injury.

With Miami playing at the 2nd slowest pace in the league, none of the 76ers players offer much value this evening.
