Trump was banned from the platform following the January 6, 2021 riot at the Capitol in Washington, DC.
The 45th president had 88.7 million followers at the time and Trump typically tweeted all hours of the day.
Some of his tweets will live in infamy, including the now mind-boggling: “Despite the constant negative press covfefe" that resulted in a new vocabulary. Trump never explained what the word "covfefe" meant or if it was simply a spelling error.
With Elon Musk bidding to take over Twitter there is the very likely possibility that Trump will return to the platform. He has come in priced as high as -900.
Musk is pro free speech and would likely embrace the return of Trump.
Of course that -900 price assumes Musk takes control of Twitter.
