Peter Gotti, Gambino Crime Family Mobster, Says He's Sorry, Seeks Release From Prison

9:21 pm ET - James Craven, the attorney representing the repentant mobster, last week filed a Manhattan federal court motion that said Gotti, 79, suffers from cardiovascular disease, a likely cancerous growth in at least one lung and other ailments.

He's been in federal prison since 2002, serving a 300-month term on a federal racketeering conviction. Gotti now feels it's finally time to renounce the world of violence, extortion and drug trafficking where he wielded power.

"Prison has rehabilitated Peter Gotti, as it is supposed to," Craven wrote in a seven-page motion filed late last week and first reported by Gangland News mob expert Jerry Capeci. "No longer does he try to justify his actions or defend the choices he made that brought him to prison. He wants now to tell anyone who will listen that there is truly zero benefit to unlawful activity.  Source: USAToday

Significant Betting on the Lakers to Win it All in 2020

Dave Mason of BetOnline tweeted out Saturday:

All this #NBA free agent drama has been great for action. There are more bets on the Lakers to win-it-all than every NFL team to win the Super Bowl. Also, there are more bets on the Lakers than every MLB team to win the World series except Yankees and Dodgers.

Gambling Addict's Attempt to Smash Betting Window an Epic Fail

11:43 am ET - Jermaine Faal was on his way to 'smash the f***k' out of the Betfred store for the SECOND time when police stopped him.

Faal was convicted just three weeks earlier of causing £3,000 worth of damage to Betfred.

The 28-year-old was unhappy at his court punishment and was headed to the same store to exact his revenge.

He was lucky to escape jail when he pleaded guilty to the unusual offence of having an article with intent to destroy or damage property.

Police were present the second time due to a burglary spree in the neighborhood.
