Lifetime Movie on Craigslist Killer We’re Betting Were Pretty Good

Considering the surge in traffic coming to the Gambling911.com website Monday night related to the Craigslist Killer, we are willing to bet that the Lifetime Network’s rating for the made-for-TV movie were pretty significant.

The movie premiered at 9 pm EST.

The Craigslist Killer was one Philip Markoff, a Boston University medical student. He was charged with the murder of Julissa Brisman in 2009. Ms. Brisman had placed an ad on Craigslist advertising her masseuse services. Markoff plead not guilty and ended up committing suicide while awaiting his fate in a jail cell. Markoff used a “primitive scalpel” to kill himself in a Massachusetts prison back in August.

The motive for the crime was believed to have been robbery. Markoff is said to have owed substantial gambling debts.
