If you are looking for 2012 Week 2 NFL betting odds for the Oakland Raiders vs. Miami Dolphins, please visit Bookmaker.eu here.  They were currently offering up to $2500 in FREE CASH for qualified new signups.

The following is a preview from back in 2008 so for updated odds go directly to the Bookmaker.eu website

The Oakland Raiders vs. Miami Dolphins betting odds opened at -12 ½ in favor of Miami.  They have since dropped to -10 a Bookmaker.eu.

It is pretty amazing that the Miami Dolphins - a team that won only a single game last season - would suddenly be favored by double digits.  But this is the new and improved 5-4 Miami Dolphins.  And, alas, this is the same ‘ol Oakland Raiders.

Oakland beat Miami pretty bad last season, which probably shouldn't surprise anyone.  Miami has gone 7-3 in this series however.

Dolphins are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. AFC but are 3-18-1 ATS in their last 22 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.

A few things you should know before betting on the Oakland Raiders vs. Miami Dolphins:

Russell's knee: Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell missed last week's game, and he might not return this week. Russell has tendinitis in his right knee along with a bruised bone in the same area, so the Raiders will be keeping a close eye on him this week in practice.  Andrew Walter will start if Russell can't go.

Who's running for Miami: Ricky Williams topped 100 rushing yards last week for the first time since the end of 2005. Williams is becoming a bigger part of the offense, splitting time with Ronnie Brown, who hasn't topped 60 rushing yards in the Dolphins' last five games. But Brown has scored 10 touchdowns in his last eight games.

Oakland's personal menace: In the last two weeks, the Raiders have allowed an opposing defensive pass rusher to have a big game. Falcons DE John Abraham had three sacks and a forced fumble in Week 9 and Panthers DE Julius Peppers had three sacks and two forced fumbles last week. Now Oakland must contend with Joey Porter, who has 11 sacks in the last seven games and leads the NFL with 12.

The Dolphins have played well and deserve kudos.  This is a game they should win easily and Miami has one of the softest schedules in the league capping off with this game.  Nonetheless, it is still tough for Gambling911.com to recommend betting the Dolphins with this high number.  And - no - we are not recommending Oakland either.
