It's not too soon to start thinking about Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather Fight odds even if they have yet to be posted.  Sportsbook.com has released updated odds on this fight effective January 12, 2012 - Go here now. 

The below article is dated from over a year previous. 

Initial odds on November 19 opened with Pacquiao as a small underdog at Sportsbook.com  but that could soon change once action starts rolling in.

Freddie Roach has said of the potential for this fight: "I think it will get done. I mean where is Mayweather going to go? What's he going to do, fight the winner of Berto vs Mosley? He doesn't want that either, he wants to make money also, and so does Manny Pacquiao. We will offer him a 60/40 split."

Prior to the Pacquiao/Cotto fight Saturday night, Mayweather wanted the 60/40 split going his way.

Odds on a Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather fight should prove more competitive than Pacquiao vs. Cotto where Pacquiao hovered around a -275 to -300 favorite.

"Manny Pacquiao will likely be closer to -150 to -200," said Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

After the fight, promoter Bob Arum stated that: "Pacquiao is the greatest boxer I've ever seen, and I've seen them all, including Ali, Hagler and Sugar Ray Leonard."

For the online sportsbooks industry, this was the most bet on fight of the year thus far.

I'm not a fan of Mayweather. He gets the job done, and is a true "boxer" but he fights aren't exciting enough. I think Pacman should get and deserves a large chunk of the pie rightfully so. At least he won't spend it on flash shit nobody needs. 50/50 would be good, someone needs to quiet mayweather.

Mayweather claims the PACMAN nerver called him out. I have read articles where the PACMAN thinks that Mayweather is scared to fight, isn't that being called out. I want this fight to happen because I am tired of Mayweather's mouth. Mayweather needs to read more because he has been called out time and time again. The mayweather's (all three of them) need to stop accusing the PACMAN of illegal drugs and step up.
