Conor McGregor Says He Will Knock Out Chad Mendes in 2nd Round: Latest Odds

(Gambling911.com Sports Wire) - UFC President Dana White is claiming that fighter Conor McGregor tried to bet him $3 million he could knock out Chad Mendes.

McGregor is a -160 favorite to beat Mendes Saturday night at the highly anticipated UFC 189.

The featherweight title challenger will take on Mendes after Jose Aldo had to withdraw from the fight due to a rib injury that some say he is faking.

White said during an appearance on the “Jim Rome Show” that McGregor had tried to wager literally millions of dollars with him and UFC co-owner and CEO Lorenzo Fertitta on the outcome of UFC 189.

"You want to know how confident this kid is?" White asked, rhetorically.

"I can't even believe I'm going to say this, but, he told Lorenzo and I the other day, 'I'll bet you $3 million I knock him out in the second round.' "

BetDSI.com was expected to release round odds and will offer betting on UFC 189 live.  – Tyrone Black, Gambling911.com
