The Big East takes center stage on Thursday night on ESPN as the South Florida Bulls travel to Cincinnati to face the Bearcats.  The Bulls were expected to contend for the Big East title this season but with two conference losses they are almost out of the race already.  Cincinnati is not in much better shape at 1-1 in the conference. SBG Global reports that early College Football betting has the public taking South Florida on the Road.

The Bulls are led by quarterback Matt Grothe who went 30-40 for 344 yards and two passing TD's in last week's loss to Louisville.  South Florida has not had much success against Cincinnati losing three of their five meetings all-time including the last two at Cincinnati.  The Bearcats won in 2004 and in 2006 at home against the Bulls.  The key to this game could be Cincinnati quarterback Tony Pike's health.  He left last week's game against Connecticut and the Bearcats fell apart after his departure, losing 40-16.

Here is a look at the College Football betting stats for Thursday's game. The Bulls are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 meetings against Cincinnati. The Bulls are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a loss. The Bulls are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Bulls are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in October. The Bulls are 0-8 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

The Bearcats are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Bearcats are 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a loss. The Bearcats are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Thursday games. The Bearcats are 10-4-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Bearcats are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 home games. The Bearcats are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in October.

SBG Global Current Line: South Florida  -  2.5 ,  Total  50.5
