Why is KC Such a Big Favorite Against the Broncos Monday Night? BOL Alert

Dave Mason of BetOnline is reporting that just 33% of the public betting action is on Denver Monday night as the Broncos-Chiefs wagering action has been brisk. 

The line on this game opened at -7 and has occasionally moved to -7.5  though we have seen a mostly stable number here despite the heavy one-sided action.  Anything beyond a 55/45 breakdown in the action for a Monday Night Football game will have impact, whether good or bad, for the books.  67% of the action on KC leaves the books very vulnerable especially following such a poor showing on both Saturday and Sunday.

So why the big line on Kansas City when they’ve lost their last two and Denver sits at the .500 record?

The Chiefs have lost a significant player nearly every week to injury but now some of these players are due to return, including Mitch Morse, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif and Charcandrick West.

The Los Angeles Chargers' 21-0 shutout victory over the Broncos last Sunday has helped bolster the line in favor of Kansas City.
