Ravens vs. Falcons Thursday Night Football Pick

Our friends at Don Best have isolated a few key trends and other pertinent information that should translate into a Ravens vs. Falcons Thursday Night Football winning pick.

These trends are based on importance from top to bottom, then weighed.

*After two consecutive wins, the Falcons are just 2-9 ATS. (edge:  Ravens)

*As a road underdog of 3 points or less, the Ravens are 8-1 Against The Spread over the past three seasons. (edge: Ravens)

*The Status of Roddy White:

Roddy White was limited in Atlanta's final practice and has been listed as questionable for Thursday night's game against the Baltimore Ravens.

White, the NFC's leading receiver, hurt his right knee in Sunday's win over Tampa Bay. He returned to finish the game, but didn't practice the first two days this week and got in limited work in the walkthrough Wednesday.

Center Todd McClure also sustained a minor knee injury against the Buccaneers. He, too, was listed as questionable for the prime-time game.

Linebacker Sean Weatherspoon didn't practice Wednesday and joined White and McClure as being questionable. The first-round draft pick has missed three games with a sprained right knee.  (edge:  Ravens)

*The Falcons are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games following a ATS loss.  Note that they won their last game Straight Up but failed to cover.  This stat we do not believe is as important as the aforementioned two consecutive wins trends.  (edge:  Falcons)

*Baltimore has covered the last two in this series since 2006.  (edge:  Ravens)

*The Ravens are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. win. (edge: Ravens)

Our Ravens vs. Falcons Thursday Night Football Pick:  Baltimore +1
