Notre Dame vs. Miami Betting Odds

Notre Dame was coming in as a -3 road favorite despite the Hurricanes being undefeated heading into this game.  The total was set at 59.5.

The Irish were seeing 78% of the action and should still be seeing over 70% by the time this game starts Saturday evening.

Our resident bookmaking expert Tony Caliente says:

“Books are doing little to discourage action on Notre Dame.”

He added:

“All things being equal without knowledge of any serious injuries, we would have opened this game at Irish -6.5 with a lean towards the -6.  Instead we are seeing nothing but -3 and the occasional -3.5 favoring Notre Dame.”

The Canes run defense has been shaky and Notre Dame’s Josh Adams presents a serious threat here.

The OVER is 12-1 in the Fighting Irish last 13 games after accumulating more than 280 yards passing in their previous game though the UNDER is 1-7 in Miami’s last eight games overall.
