Odds to Win Best Supporting Actress: Oscar Odds 2012 (Video)

The odds to win Best Supporting Actress at the 2012 Oscars had Octavia Spencer as the ‘lock’ to win for her role in “The Help”.  You would have to bet $350 to win $10 though.  The Best Actor and Best Actress categories, along with the Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Picture and  offer much more competitive odds with all the latest prices found at BetDSI.com here

The 41-year-old Spencer is best known for her role as Constance Grady on the popular US sitcom “Ugly Betty”.  In “The Help”, Spencer plays the feisty and unflappable domestic, Minny Jackson.

Spencer has called the Oscars her “Cinderella Moment”.

She told KABC in Los Angeles her true Cinderella moment came when she won the Best Supporting Actress award at the Broadcast Films Critics Association Awards.

"Never would I have ever imagined that my name would be called among all of these beautifully brilliant actresses. So I'm already living that Cinderella moment and this is just frosting on the cake. I'm going to turn into a pumpkin on Feb. 27, so I'm going to enjoy this moment now," Spencer said, adding she's holding on to her glass slipper.

"I will shoot somebody if they try to take that glass slipper from me," she joked.
