"Worse than white trash", "tax evaders", "individuals with no last name":  These were just a few of the things comedian Joan Rivers has called poker players over the course of several weeks during her tirades against fellow Celebrity Apprentice finalist and poker pro Annie Duke.  She's called Ms. Duke worse:  "Hitler" for example.  Two weeks ago her fired daughter, Melissa, referred to Annie as a "Whore Pit Viper".

Now Duke's colleague in the poker world, Doyle Brunson, is demanding that Joan Rivers apologize to the poker world.

"Joan Rivers bought a scarf but she took it back because it was too tight," the feisty Doyle writes.

"Joan Rivers went to the doctor for a zit on her butt. He told her it was a brain tumor....[ouch]"

These were just a few of the Tweets from the newest Twitterer, and Doyle has promised not to let up until Joan Rivers apologizes to the poker world.

"If you gave Joan Rivers a penny for intelligence, you would get a refund."

Meanwhile, on Joan Rivers Twitter page (which is no longer associated with QVC), she is referring to Annie Duke as Ann-ME, a reference to the idea that Annie only talks about herself, according to Joan.

"If you really look closely, Ann-ME did a lot of sobbing when she won but not one tear came out," Rivers says. "Warch how Annie Duke does EVERYTHING and lets us know every second how brilliant she is...."

Rivers even continues to lash out at the poker community on her blog.

"Hey, poker playing is a very noble profession. Florence Nightingale was torn between nursing and a career playing Texas Hold 'em...."

She does sort of back off the poker players however with this Tweet: "Poker players calm down! I was referring to one poker player as white trash, not all of them. So everybody in the poker world...CALM DOWN!"

We might be a little bias here at Gambling911.com but when it comes to Annie being in the final of Celebrity Apprentice but this is a MUST WATCH Sunday night as Joan Rivers goes up against Annie Duke beginning 8 pm EST.  Everyone is now talking about this showdown regardless of whether they play poker or not.
