What to Expect in 2019

From SBNation:

Projected 2019 record and S&P+ ranking: 7-5 (90th)

Five key points:

After stumbling to 104th in S&P+ in 2017, Air Force rebounded ... on paper. Five close losses prevented the win total from rising, though.
The Falcons would’ve probably bowled with QB Donald Hammond III in the lineup all year. He runs an efficient option and offers some vertical passing as well.
The run defense was brilliant last year and returns some key play-makers in Jordan Jackson and Kyle Johnson. Attrition has rendered depth perilous, though.
The run defense would have been more noticeable had a banged-up secondary not struggled so much. It is senior-heavy and should improve if healthy.
The schedule features seven opponents projected worse than 90th in S&P+, and only one game is projected out of reach. Expect a nice rebound.
