TULSA, Okla (Gambling911.com) - A Jenks, Oklahoma couple is killing it at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit Hard Rock Tulsa this week.
The husband and wife tandem of Eric and Lauren Bunch, now married for three years, have won a combined four Circuit rings at the series thus far.
Eric, an Oklahoma pro from Collinsville with over $2 million in Hendon Mob earnings, won three WSOP Circuit Tulsa events for his third, fourth and fifth rings, while Lauren won her third ring by taking down Event #3: #$300 Pot Limit Omaha (PLO).
The series concluded September 7 with Jesse Jones winning it all.
“He’s been crushing all year,” Lauren said of her hubby. “I still have got to get on his level.”
She's well on her way to doing just that.
Lauren has won those three rings in just over a year's time, winning her first in July 2025 in a WSOP Circuit Choctaw Durant Ladies event and more recently winning the $300 Ladies event at March's Hard Rock Tulsa stop.
Poker Super Couples Hardly a New Phenomenon
Long time Gambling911.com readers are most certainly already acquainted with Jennifer Tilly and Phil "Unabomber" Laak.
They are arguably the most recognizable celebrity poker couple over the past few decades. Tilly, of course, gained notoriety as "The Bride of Chucky" in that horror franchise.
She played Tiffany Valentine, Chucky's former human girlfriend, and essentially became the franchise's second signature character alongside Chucky.
The character is obsessed with Charles Lee Ray—the serial killer whose soul became Chucky—and spends years searching for him. Tilly's character is ultimately responsible for the deaths of four individuals.
And perhaps fittingly, Tilly’s real-life boyfriend is nicknamed “The Unabomber” — not because he’s a killer, of course, but because Phil Laak’s trademark hoodie-and-sunglasses look was said to resemble that of the infamous criminal, Ted Kaczynski.
Together the couple has cashed out just over $5.5 million on the live poker circuit.
Then there's Alex Foxen & Kristen Foxen, probably the No. 1 poker super couple right now. Both are elite high-stakes tournament players. Kristen has six WSOP bracelets, while Alex has been a two-time GPI Player of the Year. They married in 2022. Remarkably, they've even played heads-up against one another for tournament titles.
Liv Boeree & Igor Kurganov are another major pairing. Both were elite high-stakes players, and they famously won the 2017 WSOP $10,000 Tag Team Championship together. They're less active on the traditional tournament circuit now, but remain prominent figures in the poker world.
Cherish Andrews & Brock Wilson have emerged as one of the hottest current couples. This year they and the Foxens absolutely tore through the 2026 U.S. Poker Open—those four players won five of the first seven events.
Oh, and we also have Amazing Race contestant, Maria Ho. She's been dating Rainer Kempe since 2018.
They've had some remarkable simultaneous tournament success. In 2018 in South Africa, Ho won the WPTDeepStacks Johannesburg Main Event while Kempe won two events at the same festival. Then at the 2019 L.A. Poker Classic, Kempe won a $25,000 High Roller for $270,905, and days later Ho won another $25K High Roller for $276,690.
A fascinating one is Kate Hoang & Julien Martini. They actually met while playing heads-up against each other for a WSOP bracelet and subsequently married—about as "poker couple" as it gets.
They have won about $6.43 million in recorded live tournament earnings combined, although Martini accounts for the overwhelming majority.
