How To Bet On UFC Fight Night: Condit vs. Alves
You can bet on these fights using the moneyline betting system for each matchup, which will have an underdog and a favorite. The underdog will be shown by a positive sign in front of their odds, so one might see a line like +220, which means you would have to bet $100 to win $220 on that fighter. Meanwhile, you have the favorite, as shown by a negative sign, so you could see something like -180, which means you would have to lay down $180 to win $100 on that fighter.

Main Card
Carlos Condit vs. Thiago Alves – Welterweight
Condit (29-8) tore his knee up against Tyron and has fought hard to get back on track, and you would think that he has one more try, at least, to fight for the title after losses to Georges St. Pierre and Johny Hendricks. Condit is incredibly well-rounded with 14 KO/TKO wins to go with 13 submissions, and he has a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu along with a few pro fights in kickboxing. Alves (21-9) has a brown belt in jiu-jitsu, but he is more dangerous with his hands as he has 12 knockout wins, but he is more or less a gatekeeper at 170 pounds. Condit has won “Fight Of The Night” while Alves has two, so this should be a barnburner and both men love nothing more than to finish fights.
Nik Lentz vs. Charles Oliveira – Featherweight
Lentz (25-6-2, 1 NC) has won four of his last five fights, but he has not fought since last May as he was due to face Oliveira (19-4, 1 NC) in a rematch of their June 2011 bout, which ended in a no-contest due to an illegal knee by Oliveira, but Oliveira failed to make weight. Lentz is a strong wrestler who has ten submission wins along with six knockouts, while Oliveira is also well-rounded in that respect with six KO/TKO wins and 11 subs. Oliveira is a black belt and has submitted two of his last three fighters during a three-game win streak, but that no-contest is not good on his resume. It was the “Fight Of The Night” during the first tilt, so you should expect another back-and-forth battle in Brazil.
Norman Parke vs. Francisco Trinaldo – Lightweight
Parke (20-3-1) lost a tough split decision to Gleison Tibau in January, and he has a black belt in judo to go with a wrestling title at home in Northern Ireland as Parke is a gritty fighter who won The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes in 2012. Trinaldo (16-4) took part in The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil and he is a very powerful striker who had one fight at 185 pounds, so he is capable of coming at you with a lot of power. He has the same amount of submission wins as TKO/KO victories (five) and he has won his last two fights. A win for either would push them closer, or perhaps even put them in the 155-pound top ten.
Francimar Barroso vs. Ryan Jimmo – Light Heavyweight
Barroso (16-4) has black belts in both jiu-jitsu and kickboxing with eight knockouts and six submissions to his credit, and he does not mind getting taken down because he can reverse and pull some ground-and-pound on you in a heartbeat. Jimmo (19-4) is a solid wrestler, but he might be better served keeping this fight standing up as he is a good counterpuncher. Jimmo is coming off a broken arm suffered in a fight against Ovince Saint Preux last June, and his last two losses have come via injury, so his body might be the biggest thing holding him back.
Yan Cabral vs. K.J. Noons – Lightweight
Cabral (12-1) is a jiu-jitsu ace with 11 submission wins on his resume and it is easy to see his gameplan: get you on the mat and go to work. Noons (13-7, 1 NC) will be doing his best to stay away from that scenario as he is a striker through and through, and one that has fought professionally in kickboxing and boxing. He will want to turn this into a striking exhibition, but he will have his hands full against Cabral.
