UFC 142 Fight Odds (Video)

UFC 142 fight odds were available at BetDSI.com, the leader in UFC and Mixed Martial Arts betting online with live in-progress wagering available.  In business since 1997.

The marquee fight of this card was no doubt Chad Mendes vs. Jose Aldo.  BetDSI.com had Aldo at -275 and Mendes at +215, paying over $200 for every $100 bet should he upset here

Jose Aldo has won 12 of his 19 fights with a knockout.  He will be Chad Mendes’ toughest opponent to date and Aldo has home advantage as UFC 142 will take place in his birthplace of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

"I train with some of the best guys in the world,” Mendes said.  “I’ve been wrestling since I was 5 years old – it’s what I’ve done my entire life. I haven’t taken a year off, ever, so I don’t care who he’s worked with. He can work with the best wrestler in the entire world for a camp, and it doesn’t mean he’s going to be anywhere near as good as mine.

"(Brazil is) the birthplace of MMA.  Beating a champion in his own backyard, to me, there's no better way to prove that I’m in the best company at 145 pounds. So overall, I’m feeling great. The camp has gone very, very smooth – the best. This is the best shape that I’ve ever been in, and I’m excited to get in there and showcase it."

More UFC 142 fight odds had Vitor Belfort as a -140 favorite against Anthony Johnson at +110 and Rousimar Palhares was a huge -525 favorite versus Mike Massenzio at +375.  Find more UFC 142 betting odds at BetDSI.com here.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
