Previously at 6/1 odds and even shorter at some online sportsbooks, Bookmaker.com had Sidney's Candy Kentucky Derby odds a half point longer to +650 for a payout potential of $65 on every $10 bet.  Bookmaker.com, the oldest online sportsbook catering to North American bettors, was also giving 8 percent back on both losses and wins for the 2010 Kentucky Derby.

Brian Mulligan of ESPN.com says: "If you believe he can relax, overcome the outside post and still punch it in, he has a legit shot to upset.

"(He) has also been able to relax on the lead in his last two route victories and is coming off a career-best 100 Beyer. His sire was unbeaten in six races and posted a 123 Beyer taking the Pacific Classic at the Derby distance and although his dam, Fair Exchange, was a loser of all five career starts, her dam, Exchange, won the 10-furlong Santa Barbara Handicap on grass and the 12-furlong Orchid Handicap, also on turf."

Gambling911.com anticipates Sidney's Candy's odds to shorten a bit more prior to the start of the Derby so lock the +650 price in now.
