Week 16 NFL Weather

The NFL Week 16 weather forecasts have the potential to significantly impact some key games.

On paper, the Miami Dolphins look like they can just about seal the deal before heading into the Meadowlands next weekend against a two win Kansas City Chiefs team.  Not so fast.  While the skies will be clear, the temperatures will feel like -9 degrees!  Yeah, that's a minus and the Chiefs should almost be a -9 favorite in this one.  It's not every day the Dolphins play in sub zero temperatures folks.  Gambling911.com reluctantly suggests a small play on Kansas City at +4 (see Sportsinteraction.com for that number.  Most online sportsbooks were offering the line at +3 ½)

The best line on New England was also at Sports Interaction where they had the Patriots as a -7 ½ favorite against Arizona.  The temperature up there will feel like the mid to low 20s and there is going to be plenty of wind and snow to go around.  The spectator index was listed at 1 - meaning you can't get any more uncomfortable watching this game if you're unlucky enough to be there.   The Over/Under at SportsInteraction.com was 44 ½ and Gambling911.com doesn't really see the score getting near this with such weather conditions, though we do believe New England will blow out Arizona.

The New York Jets will play the Seahawks in Seattle with a rain/snow mix and temperatures hovering just under freezing.  Wind won't be much of a factor but the weather conditions certainly favor New York here.  The line is Jets -3 ½ at Bookmaker.com.

Carolina could have a tough go at it in the Meadowlands Sunday night with temperatures that will feel like they are around 20 degrees.  The biggest impact we think will be the wind coming in at 16 mph.

BetMGM is one of 15 sportsbooks regulated by the commonwealth of Virginia.  None of these take bets on in-state schools.  There are other options, however, including our friends at BetOnline (established in 1999).

White Sox and the Rays vs. Red Sox Under Come Through Nicely Sunday

The Rays are suddenly looking human again and playing .500 baseball over their last ten games.  They will be offering up Taj Bradley (3-2, 3.60 ERA), a desperate Taj Bradely we should say.  He was charged with one run (zero earned) over 5 2/3 innings on Monday but it was still a loss to the Cubs.
