The books gotta be loving that Tiger Woods is slumping on Day One of the 2019 PGA Championship, or maybe not.

They would at least want him to stay competitive.  After all, betting will be available after each day's round of play with odds updated

Woods will likely be instilled with hefty payout odds after Thursday's play. 

Woods settled for a 2-over 72 Thursday at Bethpage Black in his first start since winning the Masters in April.

Brooks Koepka leading isn’t exactly good for the books though.  Koepka was seeing more of the money in Europe where the bookmakers there had him as the favorite over Tiger.

He was off to a record setting start at this year's PGA Championship.   Without making birdie on the par 5s, Koepka still broke the course record Thursday with a 7-under 63 that made him the first player to post a 63 in consecutive years at major championships.
