Two 8-4 teams take the field on Saturday in the Meineke Car Care Bowl as West Virginia plays North Carolina.  This will be the seventh straight bowl game for West Virginia and the second for head coach Bill Stewart. "We're facing a very formidable, tough, top-notch opponent," Stewart said, "I don't know what we're going to do with this bunch."
SBG Global reports that early College Football betting has the public taking West Virginia on the Road.

North Carolina finished in a tie for third place with Miami in the Coastal Division of the ACC. "You kind of overlook the good things you did this year because we didn't get to the ACC championship, or we didn't accomplish some of the things we wanted to," North Carolina safety Deunta Williams said. "We did have a good season. We're still going to have a good season."

West Virginia is led by quarterback Pat White and running back Noel Devine. White ran for 919 yards with eight touchdowns this season while Devine was third in the Big East with 1,228 rushing yards.

T.J. Yates leads the Tar Heels at quarterback as he threw for 957 yards with nine touchdowns and three interceptions despite missing five games due to injury. Shaun Draughn led North Carolina in rushing with 801 yards.
