"ME AND DAD F***** UP THA COACH FA THA KANSAS CITY ROYALS."

That is the caption that appears beneath a photo featured on the MySpace page of William Ligue The III.

The caption pretty much describes the photo.

Dashiell Bennett of DeadSpin.com writes:

"They say it's important to live without regret. And one thing Young Bill Ligue does not regret is thrashing an old man on the field at Comiskey Park when he was 15. You just can't manufacture those kinds of memories."

Father and son ran onto the baseball field on September 19, 2002 pummeling the Royals' 54-year-old first base coach Tom Gamboa.  It was Ligue III and his dad.

Bennett observes that "now 22 and looking at his MySpace (or course) page it doesn't take long to see that starting a brawl at a baseball game is the crowing achievement of his short life. (After "anticipatin" the birth of his "shorty."). The rest sort of speaks for itself, but it's always amusing to see white boys make liberal use the word "nigga" as they rap about all the cash money they don't actually possess."

Bennett concludes: "It warms the heart to think that someday soon three generations of tattooed goons can go to the ballpark together and mug a third-base coach."

Funny and sad at the same time.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
