This late night game between the Indianapolis Colts and San Diego Chargers looked like one of the most exciting heading into this season.  While the Colts are starting to get their act together, the Chargers have had a difficult time all season.  They are fortunate enough to be in a weak division that there is still time to make a playoff run if they can beat the Colts this weekend.

Odds on this game opened San Diego -3 and they were still a -2 ½ favorite at most online gambling establishments heading into Sunday morning.  If you were looking to bet the Colts, BetCRIS.com still had them at +3.

San Diego has won the last 3 in this series while the Colts won the previous 4 and San Diego won the 3 before that.  The home/away series has been split down the middle.

Recent stats give the Chargers a slight edge with that team being 6-1-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 13-5-1 ATS in their last 19 games overall.

In recent years this series has been played very close.  Using the 3 point line, the Colts would be 5-2 ATS in this series over the last 7 games.

Gambling911.com does like Indianapolis chance to cover the +3 here.
