Henrythenavigator's odds to win the 2008 Breeders' Cup would pay $600 for every $100 bet at Sports Interaction

Who is Henrythenavigator?

Henrythenavigator (foaled February 28, 2005) is an American-bred and Irish-trained Thoroughbred racehorse. He won the 2,000 Guineas, the Irish 2,000 Guineas, the St. James's Palace Stakes and the Sussex Stakes in 2008.

He is named after the Portuguese prince, Henry the Navigator.

"They have tough constitutions," Irish trainer Aidan O'Brien said of Henrythenavigator and Duke of Marmalade (+800 odds). "They both handle fast ground. Obviously, the Duke stays very well. We're not sure about Henry, but he looks like he could get a mile-and-a-quarter.

"I don't think we've had two better colts. But they've raced hard all season and they haven't missed a dance and they haven't sidestepped a race. Even with Henry when the ground was on the slow side, and we maybe should have pulled back, but he still ran and ran well. Look at their records, both of them. They've run in Group 1 after Group 1 after Group 1. Henry was a Coventry winner and the other horse ran with an injury all last year, and was just beaten in the Queen Elizabeth. I couldn't say we've had two horses with constitutions and ability better than those."

Jon Rahm Surges at PGA Championship

Jon Rahm was going for his third major win at the 107th PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. He played great, proving he’s ready to be a top golfer again. After some ups and downs since joining LIV Golf in late 2023, Rahm shot an impressive 4-under 67 in the third round on Saturday. This strong round put him tied for fifth place, just five shots behind the leader, Scottie Scheffler.
