There is more to college football betting than just Florida vs. Alabama.  We also have the Missouri Tigers vs. Oklahoma Sooners.

While the Sooners are ranked number 2 in the nation, the Tigers are not exactly the worst team in college football, having lost only 3 games.  Yet they were a +16 ½ underdog heading into this one.

In last season's Big 12 championship game, Oklahoma won a second straight conference title and spoiled Missouri's national title hopes.

In this year's title game Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium, it's the No. 4 Sooners who will try to avoid an upset against the No. 19 Tigers -- and stay in the BCS' top two -- as star quarterback Sam Bradford plays hurt.

By entering this week No. 2 in the BCS rankings, Oklahoma (11-1, 7-1) beat out Texas and Texas Tech for a spot in Saturday's game and a chance to win a third consecutive Big 12 title game.

The Sooners have quite the edge in this one if the Straight Up results were important to sports bettors.  They have gone 9-1 in this series against Missouri over the last 10.  6 of those games were won by more than the current spread including 3 of the last 4 games.

Important states to consider:

The Tigers are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games following a ATS loss.

Oklahoma is 5-0 ATS following a Straight Up win.

Neither of these trends provide for compelling arguments as to whether we should be on either team.  As Gambling911.com sees it, the line for Oklahoma is way overcompensated.  That doesn't mean they won't manhandle Missouri.  We just wouldn't recommend betting on this big a line against a decent team like the Tigers.
